Some texts tell of fantastic accomplishments involving flight records, speed records, and polar expeditions. One text fragment tells of other records broken, involving disasters and death. But overall, as the top of the box exclaims, there's a "good time had by all."
Deep inside the box are fragments of a poem that reads, in part, "Do you remember, when you were first a child, Nothing in the world seemed strange to you?... Caught up into the momentary vortex of your living Still kept the knowledge of a former state..."
The box is sturdy enough to hold a keepsake or surprise. It might be used to present a gift - maybe an invitation to join in on an adventure of some sort (a night out, a trip, a marriage?) The box is full of ideas, but underneath, it is simply a paperboard jewelry box that probably won't last forever. But then, what does?
