Rainbow trout catches man!
Upon doing my research for this show, I discovered that Onorhynchus mykiss (aka Rainbow trout) are voracious feeders and like to feed on plankton, aquatic and terrestrial insects, salmon carcasses, and occasionally some smaller fishes.
However, I was totally unprepared for what I would find next. I stumbled upon a little-known secret, and it's something that's not listed in any textbook or how-to book on trout fishing in America...and that is, that sometimes, they feed on us humans! Yes, that's right, I said HUMANS!
This beautiful rainbow trout has just caught his tasty dinner, using SPAM as "CHUM" (bait) which he's thrilled about since that means he and his wife won't have to eat Spam again for dinner tonight.
However, as you can see, the man hanging on his fishing line is not quite as thrilled with the situation. In fact, I'd say he looks quite terrified. Well, perhaps you would be too, if you had a giant rainbow trout reeling you in! Sadly, the man just couldn't resist all that tasty Spam-chum! YUM!
Man eats fish/fish eats man. They both eat spam! The proverbial "tide" has turned (pun intended). When will Man realize that he is NOT at the TOP of The food chain? Didn't "Jaws" teach us anything? ;)
