I always put a little bit of myself in every one of my pieces. I think that's why I've always been drawn to fantasy art. I'm always imagining myself in strange lands and roles, a sorceress, and countess, a warrior, or even a witch doctor as depicted here. It is by far, one of the best feelings for me, to be able to put myself in the places I imagine through my art. For me, it's what self portrait is all about.
