The idea of this piece began after I had remembered a conversation with one of my friends. " Everyone is beautiful in the dark...", he had said. In those words I had found a bit of truth. The darkness can be so liberating at times. Without the constraints of light a sheltered heart can roam free. This piece shows my being released from all inhabitions, dancing as it were in the darkest night. This piece was done on stretched canvas in grey scale surrounded by a sea of blackness.
