Art: ANKH by Artist Shirley Inocenté
ANKH is definitely a representation of myself. I tend to focus on the eyes with paintings as they are the windows of the soul. I selected the color green for the eye as it represents growth and encased it in a golden ankh (Egyptian symbol of life). In life, I always want to grow, never to be stagnant, for eternity. Also, I choose a shade of purple as the background color as it is a representation of regality in african culture. I'm a princess of life, still growing and learning and did not want to go with a full on purple. I hope this statement makes sense to you. (.o(^,_,^)o.)
