I combined two paintings. One was titled "Genesis" and had a woman nurturing a plant. I pulled another piece called, "I'll Start My Diet Tomorrow" and gave that to the woman, instead of the plant. I paint a lot of chubby women, so thought this added my own flavor to the piece, but still represented the person I ripped off, Doris David. I added hot peppers and olives as a wreath on the woman's head to incorporate the food-diet theme. I also added olives as the background, around the sandwich, rather than the floral background that Doris had originally.
