I am a huge animal lover and advocate. I love painting all different kinds of wildlife. This is the first rhino I have ever painted. I used acrylics on an 8 pound smooth river rock. I chose to do a baby to try to capture the innocence of a young rhino's life before having to grow up too quickly.

I have always been appalled for years of the killing of these wonderful animals for their precious horns. We all need to be aware that the horns have absolutely no medicinal purposes whatsoever. Stop the killing, please!
