I am currently constructing a line of Eco-Friendly Paintings. For the last 5 years I have been working on a line of artwork that would just utilize common household items that are biodegradable and can be easily recycled. I am contantly on the lookout for trash that can be converted to something useful and beautiful.This piece is 100% Fair Trade Coffee in different stages to create many tones and textures. I have also included pods and filters. All of my resources for this piece were used and considered trash. The coffee,filter,pods all used. My greatest achievement in this process has been finding natural methods that stop the coffee from molding. I hope to see more eco-friendly art in homes that would otherwise have bare walls. I enjoy the fact that I am taking an environmentally friendly product and using it in different ways.
