This piece is based on a card my daughter gave me last year for Mother's Day. When she gave it to me I knew I needed to do a painting of it. So it's been in my sketch book ever since waiting to be done.

Lots of layers of stuff on this one. I began by covering the entire piece of wood with printed paper, over that came tissue paper, then the grass, then more tissue paper, then more grass and all the other elements.
