A scene from the beautiful North /cascades National park in Washington state. I am fortunate enough to live just south of it and one can get overwhelmed with beauty when visiting it. There are many eagles in the area so one only has to set up and watch for them to come in view. This is a little stream at the head waters of the Methow River. Painting outdoors does have it's problems. Such as insects, and air fragments, all of which gravitate toward the wet oil paint add heat to that and I am always surprised at how anything turns out worth looking at but sometimes you get a miracle
