Painted in April during a landscape painting class I took at PAFA. This is the view of Philadelphia from Bartram gardens in early spring. Working from the farthest point, I painted the sky first, and the the citscape on top. Then the warmer colors of the grasses and creek. I choose this mostly because I liked the way the light played on the buildings and the contrast of industrial space with the grassy field.
