This painting is part of my ongoing fish fascination. This work deals with the contrast and dissonance involved in changing form-be that going from willowy to curvaceous or back again, one place to another, or one life plan to another one. It is also painted in the form of a quilt, thus the fringe and subtle shading to give depth. This is the season for change and for warmth.
