Collaboration - Artists Kiny McCarrick (age 32) and Nolan McCarrick (age 3). This piece is special to me because it was one of our first collaborations together. Working with my son is a learning experience in that it is important to not change or judge what he has done but to add to it. There is no right or wrong and it challenges my thinking and creative process, just like any collaboration. We have a great time together.

This piece was funny because I saw this beautiful wash of swirls and color that he had done and thought immediately of keys. I imagine it as the middle ground between where you're sure you had set them and where they finally show up.
