The violin has long been one of my passions, so it is only natural that I add it to my artistic ventures. This drawing was done using only 3 Prisma Color pencils. It took approximately 15 hours of work to do all the color mixing involved. The violin is drawn without the strings or bridge to symbolize my retreat from the music world. I played the violin my whole life, but in 1995 gave it up for other interests. My guilt at having given up playing leads to the sadness of the violin itself.
