Art: Wednesday's Been A Bad Bad Goul by Artist Kasey Thiele
Here is my latest painting - not for the faint of heart. Super cute Wednesday Addams has been quite naughty. Or perhaps her Halloween costume should be called "Parents' Worst Nightmare". So many things to look at in this painting. Many horror genre references to see. Wednesday is holding her doll Marie Antoinette with the arm that is clad in Freddy Kruger's sweater and glove (Nightmare on Elm Street) She has just ripped off her Jason hockey mask (Friday the 13th), and is attempting to hide a chainsaw behind her back (Texas Chainsaw Massacre). There is "blood" dripping from the top of the painting, and a few droplets on the chainsaw, as well as a "bloody handprint" from yours truly. I love pop culture, and although I do not advocate violence, I grew up watching these horror "classics". This piece is HUGE! 22 inches x 28 inches on canvas. It is painted on the sides as well. It is ready to hang, but might I suggest to get it framed in case the painted-over staples bother you. If not, then it's ready as is. This painting has been sealed with professional grade varnish for protection, signed/dated, and will ship with certificate of authenticity. Thank you for stopping by!
