Created for The Orange Show- October 2005. When I took on The Orange Show challenge my miind jumped to the usual fruity or flower options. I mixed different combos of various reds and yellows and began to block the layers working from light to dark. As the colours built so did the repetition of the word - orange orange orange - until my Writer's Muse whispered: "It's the word without a rhyme." But still the poet sits in his orange world, book in hand and ever hopeful.
