This piece I created is fairly new. I painted this piece using a mirror [this piece is not detail-accurate]. I am very influenced by Henri Matisse [although he painted in a shirt and tie!] I was inspired to create this piece looking at his portrait of 'Madame'. I loved the expressive colors of her face.
