This is a piece that utilizes a brillant orange hue to add light to the intricate webs of a root system of a large decayed tree. This is a view I may have had as a kid hiding from monsters. Looking out, hoping not to be spotted. Overcomed with a sense of safety and fear. Lightend areas give a sense of depth within the roots.
