This original abstract was done with acrylic paints mixed with a polyacrylic glaze. The glaze gave a light sheen to the paint, but thinned it so there is almost no texture to the finished peice. The clear glaze worked almost like mixing water and oil. The colors shifted and cut through each other, but barely mixed. Leaving this piece with a water and oil effect that still looks wet, but is dry and covered with gorgeous patterns. Some of the patterns include crackles and spirals.
