This is one of the bright and colorful close-up dog paintings I have created recently. The shading of the background was really fun to do, blending shades of orange and bouncing those off the blue dog. Orange is one of my favorite colors to use in paintings; here it makes the blue of the dog secondary. The title is inspired by the similarity in the colors I used to a very popular laundry detergent box!
