Art: An Orange Day (SOLD) by Artist Caryl A. Worden
Giving a day a colour is not uncommon. A ''red letter day'' is one to remember; A ''black day'' is one we'd like to forget. And blue days are ones where you just want to crawl into bed and stay there. This got me thinking...what would other colours in the spectrum represent? To me, an orange day would be for feeling nostalgic. The colour of maples in autumn; the silky feel of Ginger, the orange tabby cat I had as a child; the taste of an orange popsicle on a hot summer afternoon or of freshly squeezed orange juice (when do we ever do that anymore?) . Or maybe it's the colour of meandering along the tracks with your bike on your way to meet a friend for a day full of adventure.
