This was definitely a close call.  I was nearly trampled by the horse as it reared up.  Because I am always looking for the definitive 'jaleo' photo, I stepped a bit too close to capture this image of horse and rider, not even sure that I got anything until I later looked.  The motion of the hooves  pawing the air before descending bring a sense of immediacy and urgency to the scene. Luckily, it was a narrow escape and a moving experience!
