A conversation with my neighbor over a clump of echinacea (pink coneflower) when this rapturous couple are spotted. I whispered to them (to myself), "please don't go away" as I darted into the house for my camera.

I returned to find them still nicely situated and apparently enjoying the location tremendously. Almost aware of how photogenic they were, they didn't depart, but seemed to strike poses despite the closeness of me and my large strange "eye".

After many shots, I finally tore myself away to afford them a little privacy. This is one of the two photos/poses of them I've chosen for this show.
