Many have tried, a few came close, but in the end there can be only one Marilyn. Beyond physical beauty, it is her innate, child like sense of wonder that make her so irresistible and at the same time a Fragility that would be her undoing. I am reminded of my biological mother at this point and I think Elton John states it best in his song. 

You lived your life

like a candle in the wind

never knowing who to turn too

when the rain set in

She and Marilyn seem to be cut from the same cloth, sweet delicate freshly spun silk. Fragile as it is beautiful and perhaps that is the point. Afterall life is the same way This art is about her child like side, pure sweet and genuine 

Marilyn didn't make the Fan show this year, so I am giving her a second lease on life here.
