This particular painting was inspired by Oneiromancy, the prophetic divination we can get from our dreams. I personally believe there are many important messages in our dreams once we tap into them and they can be used as a valuable tool to gather information about ourselves. One of the reasons I love to paint is the "dream-like" state I can achieve while creating. I never know exactly what I am going to end up with. Many of my paintings have started from lucid dreaming.
