Up early in the morning, serve breakfast, off to work, and home again to feed the troops.... How many Mom's can relate to this scenario. After working hard all day "A Mother's Work is Never Done" whomever coined that phrase was so correct. This painting was done with my friends Belgian Team in mind. The driver goes in for lunch and meanwile the foal "bellies up to the bar". I am always on the lookout for horses with presence and a kind eye...they are as honest as the day is long, and painting them almost gives a bigger window into their soul. Materials are Golden Acrylics on 16x20 stretched canvas.
