While playing with my colored pencils, I started to add pastels over the top and enjoyed the water-like feel this gave the piece. I decided to use this method on a fish pond piece to try out the fluid feel. I hope you enjoy this little fish pond koi piece with the waterlilly for an added touch of color. This piece is drawn to the edge of the paper, hard-trimmed (not torn) edges.

As with all my art, I use Quality artist materials on acid-free watercolor paper.
