The Farmer's Market is a great place to photograph as there is so much on display. These baby yellow squash caught my eye on a recent visit and I had fun repainting them to add texture and saturated color for contrast. Two differently painted versions were used to make the final image, one in blue, the other in yellow. When the blue version emerged from compositing, I thought it might be interesting to push it one step farther. Hence the yellow squash were painted in over the blue to create the final image and finished with a dark border.Photoshop and Studio Artist were used to digitally paint and layer composite from the original photo of the yellow squash as seen in detail.
