This flower has many uses,aside from being pretty to look at,It's a good ground cover because in warmer climates it grows year around and seeds itself,so it needs hardly any care.And every part of this plant and its blooms are edible in some way.the leaves of the plant are like watercress with a peppery taste.the blossems can be eaten whole,stuffed with ceam cheese mixture,chopped and added to vegtable dishes.the flower can also be added to flavor vinegar and the seeds can be ground as in a pepper mill.plus many more uses,so i would say that makes the Nasturtium very nice to have around.this was painted with acrylics on stretched canvas.thanks for looking,christi
