I was very interested in experimenting with painting water drops (dewdrops) in watercolor. I thought the flower of the month, Nandina (March 2014 exhibit) would be the perfect opportunity! I painted this original watercolor on 300lb Hot Press Artistico paper, with artist quality watercolors. It is an ACEO - small format artwork that measures only 2.5" by 3.5".
