A cutting from a house plant, of which unfortunately I do not know the name, in spite of the fact that it is a very common plant. The odd shape of the cutting is what drew me to photographing it as it reminded me of an elderly person, bent from age and delicately balancing to stay upright. The background was digitally painted and the original photo worked on in PS.
