I like to use the EBSQ Art Shows as opportunities to try something different. I've wanted to try sandwhiching several pieces of glass together, to form a 3-Dimensional shadowbox type pendant. The call for a Fern themed show seemed a good starting point. I collected some frond tips of early spring ferns on my morning walk, with my dog, in the forest along the beach of Sandy Hook, NJ. I cut and ripped the definition of fern from a vintage dictionary that I recently found in the Free box at my library. The three pices of glass are soldered together in a lead free solder. I added sterling silver jumpring bales and a swirl of sterling wire. An extra, unexpected bonus is the back, which shows the definition of fetish.
