I love the play of light and shadow to be experienced in Nature. I've always been fond of ferns. There is something about their shape and color which is particularly appealing to me. The areas around my pond are, as is much of my yard, wild and untamed. These ferns grow between the pond and the marsh and if visited at the right time of day dance with light.
