This piece is in honor of my godparents, Guy and Betty Renzaglia, owners of Alto Vineyards and Winery. When I was much younger I remember Guy telling my father how he was planning to start a vineyard and winery and it has been a great delight to my family that Alto has been such a wonderful success! The lampwork beads in this piece are by Lydia Muell of Ashton Jewels and are in wonderful tones of burgundy, wine, golds, greens, pinks, violets and yellows - all the colors in and under a spectacular autumn sky! The .999 fine silver beads are Fair Trade Karen Hill Tribe in origin and the gemstones are 4mm natural garnet and 6mm clear quartz crystal. The theme is, once again, my beautiful balloons - comes from having spent a number of years as an honest to goodness clown... you never get over your love of those beautiful balloons!
