The Mexican Hat Dance...with Cacti.... What's a fiesty little mouse to do in the middle of the desert...but kick up his heels and dance? This little painting is a celebration of summer, music, dance, the South.....it reminds me of a road trip I took with friends down the coast to California and the tip of Mexico....a totally different world, especially since I've moved to Quebec now where the winter wind and snow (and not the sun) is the fiercest element.... This painting was created for the July flower of the Month show here at EBSQ.
