Hi Everyone,This piece is called Gabes Amaryliss. My friend Gabe, from the land of Oz, raises Amaryliss. She creates hybrids in gorgeous colors. Amaryliss are such elegant and dramatic flowers. Their colors are so rich. The colors are a bit more rich than in the photo. I do my best to have the photos like like the art, but monitors are different and sometimes my camera just doesn't do my work justice. The layers of transparent watercolor give it a nice luminosity which shows up better in real life as well as it being brighter.
