Last December 2011 I received my first tattoo. It's a dragonfly (no, not this one) on my right shoulder. My father was a bit horrified (I'm almost 50 dad) and my stepmother paid for it lol. It's something I had wanted for a long time though I'm not really sure I can put into words why. Dragonflies are another thing that show up a lot in my paintings. They are all about transformation - accepting it, celebrating it, even reveling in it.
