Día de los Muertos has long been one of my favorite holidays; which isn't surprising since I love Halloween and Autumn is a my favorite season. Until now it never occurred to me that I might paint something to celebrate this holiday. This small watercolor painting was so much fun. I took the same care painting this señorita's face as I would painting an actual person's face.
