Digital computer art, created using Freehand software.
This piece is the first in my Contrast series. It started out when I first read the list of upcoming shows on EBSQ for 2004. Between the various shows, there was one titled "Alphabet: Typography Incorporated into Art", and since I also create fonts, incorporating words to one of my pieces just seemed to be a logical move. The font I chose is called Sharp Edge, and was created by me in 1998. I started by creating an ordered set of squares, than I disturbed them with the word confusion, so that the word represented it's own meaning. After that, I was inspired to expand the work into a series, and created eight more works, four of them also incorporating words.
