My concept was to create an image of the cosmos, with several celestial bodies in alignment. There are twelve main bodies in the background, representing both the twelve main celestial bodies in our soloar system, and the reoccurrence of the number twelve throughout the history of human religions. The symbols painted in black are from spiritual systems throughout the world, both ancient and new. It is a reminder that no matter what our different beliefs are, we are all human, made from the same building blocks.
