
This was very work intensive - but also a lot of fun to create.
Acrylic "skins" were created by painting several layers of thick paint onto wax paper.
After the paint was dry, I added several layers of clear, glossy glaze.
After that dried, the sheet of paint was peeled off the wax paper and cut into the required shapes to form the ammonite.
