This original oil was done in 2009 after a trip to the coast on a stormy day. In Oregon, the winters are grey, cold, wet and the ocean is menacing. "No swimming allowed." The surf will literally climb the cliffs. I use fast drying alkyds on high quality canvas and finish the piece with a gloss varnish. This piece has sold.
