This piece was created from a digital photo I took of an anole lizard that lives inside the screen of a window in my home. They are often frozen in these still life poses and are a constant source of inspiration. I decided to extend the abstract effect by desaturating the photo into grey, black and white, added background digital effects and used my tablet PC to draw on top of the photo.
