- SEHA Monthly Theme ACEO Cat Girl
One of three ACEO entries by me for this month's SEHA (Society of Eclectic Halloween Artists) Theme listing challenge, the theme being 'Trick or Treat'.
When reflecting upon this month's SEHA theme, what actually came to mind were fond memories of my own youthful days of trick-or-treat. As a child, as much as I adored dress-up and eagerly anticipated this annual neighborhood ritual with my pals, I was surprisingly rather conservative in my costume choices. For whatever reason, I was perfectly happy and content to wear the same old things, year after year -- keeping a self-imposed limit to three, well-worn options. Opening our family's Halloween box of decorations and effects in October of every season, and seeing those same three costumes, always felt a little like greeting old and faithful friends. "Cat Girl" , along with my other two Theme entries this month, nostalgically represent my own favorite (and only!) Trick-or-Treat costume choices as a girl.....
