I have a very difficult time letting go of my old paintbrushes. The particular paintbrushes (that are well worn) that are used in this painting were used for a long time, before being retired and then subsequently sitting in my house for the past few years. Instead of getting rid of them, I wanted to put them to good use and encorporated them into this painting. I feel good knowing that they will forever be where they belong. I will be finishing this painting with a non-yellowing, glossy coat of varnish before shipping for added clarity of colors. This is an ORIGINAL, one of a kind painting, created by me, Kathleen A.
