After too long a period of working for bread, my bottled creativity virtually exploded into 7 new pieces over two days--though some may not yet be finished. This is my favorite, a mixed media piece exploring the mystery of the female in art, history, and spirituality. It is richly layered, with surprising juxtapositions and symbolism. It fits my concept of illuminated ephemera precisely, with elements that are quite temporal and even delicate combined with eternal images.
