Watercolor study made for a larger painting. I found the form of this orb weaver spider fascinating. In experimenting for composing the painting, I created this study by folding watercolor paper into the origami frog model and using the resulting structure of the creases as a guide. This study makes for a lovely artwork by itself.
Approximately 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm).
