"Sometimes I wake up from a dream and have to hurry to my studio so I can paint my ideas on canvas and this was one of those times. I often have visions of Jesus and have many ideas floating around in my head on how I will be capturing his image with paint. This particular piece was also inspired by spiritual graffiti that I saw on the side of a demolished apartment building when I was walking through New York City one afternoon in May."
