From Picasso's blue period, this woman in a translucent chemise poses for the artist. She is wearing a picasso bug necklace which compliments the curls in her coiffure. This is an original watercolor painted on heavy watercolor paper and it measures 12"x9".
About my Picasso Bug Series: I recently started this series when I learned that there was an actual bug called the "picasso bug" from Africa. He has a hard round half shell that is covered in a variety of bright colors and patterns. This an actual living bug that was named after the famous artist. The rest of this painting is nothing more than fun and fiction. This is an original watercolor painting in the style of Picasso's early blue period. It is part of an ongoing series where I insert this colorful creature in all of my Picasso inspirations.
