One of my very favorite flowers is the Iris,which is also the state flower of Tennessee. When they are in bloom in our garden I have been known to sit out in the hot sun for hours trying to capture some of their beauty. My dream garden would be to have every possible combination of color and type of iris. New Jersey is lucky enough to have the Presby garden that is open to the public every spring. The Presby is filled with the most incredible collection of Iris that I have ever seen. The Iris is the state flower of TEnnessee.
